About Lasting Impact Design

     My name is Kassidy and I have been passionate about all things interior design and organization for as long as I can remember. Starting as early as elementary school I found so much joy in redesigning my bedroom. Completely redecorating and moving around all the furniture was a monthly occasion. Luckily I had a mom who was always open to my new ideas and let me explore my love for design. As I got older, so much of my free time was spent redesigning not only my bedroom, but our entire house. God bless my parents who loved it and gave me free range on the whole house.

     In college I began studying interior design and realized that major wasn’t for me. I didn’t like all the drawing and things that came with it. Just give me a house and let me run wild with it, I don’t want to draw it out. I do my best work by first making chaos and then turning it into a dream home. I graduated with a degree in education, but my passion for design has continued to grow.

     My love for design goes far beyond simple decorations. I love moving around furniture and discovering the best way to maximize space. I love simplicity but throw in touches of color here and there. When I am not in full on design mode, I am organizing. My label makers are some of my best friends and I could probably build a house with all the bins I own. I can’t function when things aren’t organized and I love to help others get organized too!

     My husband, Steven and I have been married for just shy of 2 years. I am a new mama to the sweetest 4 month old baby boy, Hudson Ford. We also have 3 crazy puppies, Benelli (2 years), Charlie (1 year) and Oaklee (6 months). In recent years, when I am not spending time with my friends and family, playing with my 3 dogs, being a mom and working other jobs, I have spent the majority of my time designing our home.

     While it might seem a bit crazy to start a business with 3 young pups and a brand-new baby, I thrive on businesses. I can’t seem to stay away from it. I have raised a puppy, remodeled an entire house and planned a wedding all at the same time, went through pregnancy while breeding puppies and working full time. I love the excitement of it all.
